The morning show, a series that Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston star in and produce, has been renewed for a fourth season on Apple TV+. The news comes even ahead of the premiere date for season three, which wrapped filming in late February.
Rumors indicate, however, that the arrival of the third phase of production could take place early in the second half of this year, meaning that the fourth season should only premiere next year, after the break between each season.
Second expiration, Apple TV may still be considering a fifth season, which has yet to be confirmed. In addition, negotiations are also underway with Witherspoon and Aniston for the renewal of their contracts, given that the agreements expire with the third season.
More than Aniston and Witherspoon, the cast of The morning show also features Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Steve Carell, Julianna Margulies, Karen Pittman and Greta Lee. In Season 3, Jon Hamm (Mad Men) also joins the show. Second The casingwill play corporate titan Paul Marks.
Launched in 2019 and considered one of Apple TV’s greatest hits, The morning show accompanies Alex (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) in the chaotic daily life of a famous New York newscast. The series is based on the book “Top of the Morning: Inside the Cruel World of Morning TV” written by journalist Brian Stelter.
The two seasons of The morning show are available on Apple TV+.
