The teams will now compete in the Super Final to define the national champion
The second week of the Copa do Brasil competition in soccer flag consecrated Parnamirim Scorpions and Black Hawks as the winners of the Northeast and North I regionals in the men’s category. In the previous week, the Northeast Women’s, North II Women’s and North II Men’s regional tournaments were held.
As happened in the women’s category last week, Parnamirim Scorpions also lifted the cup in the men’s category. Potiguar’s team won both matches of the competition: 42 to 6 against Cavalaria 2 de Julho and 24 to 13 against T. Warriors in the final. Cavalaria 2 de Julho finished the competition in third place, beating C.Goats 40 to 20.
In the North Region, the Black Hawks won the title with four wins in four games: 41-6 against Canaimés, 34-6 against the Cavaliers, 27-6 against FAE and 40-24 in the final against A.Warriors.
This year, Copa Brasil flag football will bring together 80 teams, representing 18 states and the Federal District. The regional winners will play the Super Final to define the champion of the national tournament.
