The promotion and tour associated with his latest album, “Aimée”, now behind him, Julien Dore has decided to return to comedy, which he especially experienced in the cinema in Pop Redemption and in the episode of Ten Percent on television.
The interpreter of the hits “Les Limites”, “Kiss Me Forever”, “Paris-Seychelles” and “La Fièvre” really announced a new project in front of the cameras yesterday on social networks, accompanied by several photos and a mysterious sentence. : “Something is brewing, but what?”. We could only guess that the project was called Panda and that filming was taking place in the Camargue.
However, today we can reveal that Panda is a new procedural detective comedy for TF1, which began filming in the South of France on March 30th.
According to us, Julien Dore will lend his qualities to the ex-cop-turned-pacifist who is forced to return to work… but this time in his own way. Prospective studies that should be anything but comforting and traditional.
The singer and actress will be flanked by Ophelia Colby (We Loved Each Other a Little Bit), who will play the titular couple, and Helen Vincent (Life’s a Long Quiet River, The Origin of the World, Marie). -Francine), who in recent years has been seen on television in the films “A Man of Honor” and “The Albie Murders”. Consisting of six 52-minute episodes, Panda was created by Thomas Mansuy and Mathieu LeBlanc, who are writing the series with Bastien Dartois, Joseph Lantini and Agathe Robillard. The first two episodes of Panda will be produced by Nicolas Couche (Les Bracelets rouges, Lycée Toulouse Lautrec).
