He wants Lauryn to pull out all the stops during this event to pocket all those beautiful people. Then her daughter promises to do everything.
At the bank, Chloe and Evan sign the loan. Chloe is far from her husband. Laetitia congratulates them, then slips off to take copies. Evan takes this opportunity to thank his wife for accompanying him on this adventure. He knows that this mortgage is bothering him, but he tries to calm him down. everything will be fine. Chloe smiled shyly.
Later, Chloe talks on Mark’s phone with Aurelius, his little friend. He explains to her that he assured Mark that there was no uncertainty on his part either. And Orel thinks that Mowry has gone his own way out of fear that he will decide not to see her again. And when she asks her friend if she’s attracted to Mark, Chloe is dismissive. He replies that he enjoys working with her, but their relationship is only friendly and intellectual. Aurélie doesn’t seem convinced. She confides in Chloe that if Mark is in love with her, seeing them again will be torture for her.
Lorin finds Ivan in the hospital and congratulates him on the loan. Evan doesn’t really understand, it all happened so fast. She thanks Lauryn for talking to her father about it. But Lauryn feels it’s up to her to be grateful. She is thrilled that Evan chose her for the position of Vice Principal. This is a great opportunity for him. For Evan, he deserves it. Lauren insists. He knows that he really enjoys working with him and is sure that they will be a great team.
Claudine is with Francois Laumier and tells him that his former assistant was able to prove his unfair dismissal and will likely win the appeal. Francois then asks him to use their usual strategy. Claudine assures him that they will allow themselves to use the slightest means. Francois enjoys annoying his former assistant.
Mark calls Chloe at work. He offers to meet and talk about his next column. Chloe agrees. At the same time, Janet regrets that all her interns are leaving the hospital. He asks Allen what he thinks about Lauryn. He wants to hire her after her internship. Allen informs her that Evan has already hired her for his clinic project. Janet is upset. But fortunately, the clinic will not see the light of day for at least two years.
In the evening, at the bar, Mark reads Chloe’s text and congratulates her on her job. He is excited about their collaboration. He finds that he immediately grasps the concept of the Chronicle. As they say their goodbyes, Chloe apologizes for how she cleaned things up between them the night before. Mark tries to reassure: everything is fine. Chloe drops her bag and her hand lands on Mark’s bag. Some awkwardness is resolved between them.
Kira makes a deal with Claire and Florent
Claire and Florent continue to ask Kira questions about her new job. They wanted him to talk to them about all of this before he started selling products on the school grounds that he doesn’t know the ingredients of. Kira tries to reassure them, she’s not making a deal, these are effective natural products. Kira admits that she did not think that she would be happy to earn money on her own without asking for help.
The teenager hopes to be able to continue the small business, but claims that if they object, he will stop everything. Florent needs to think about it, he suggests we talk about it later. After Kira leaves, Florent confides in his companion that he is skeptical. Claire then suggests asking the hospital pharmacist to find out what these products contain.
At the hospital, the pharmacist reassures Claire that there are no dangerous substances in the nutritional supplements her daughter sells. They are just vague, extremely diluted active ingredients. It is harmless. Claire then tells Janet about it and thinks it’s a bit of a scam. Janet relativizes: we sell the same thing in pharmacies, just in different packaging. Claire doesn’t know yet if Kira will be allowed to continue selling these products, even if she appeals more to yes. He knows that Kira wants to be financially independent.
Florenti calls Claire and tells her that he interviewed for Tip Green, a company that has been around for two years. There is no lawsuit against the company. Claire finds this reassuring, but Florent isn’t keen on the idea of their daughter selling questionable products. For Claire, it’s a job like any other, and there’s nothing illegal about it. Florent was expecting a more classic job, but Claire encourages him to take it. He wants Kira to do her own experiments. Especially since he is sure that after meeting Kira, he will move on to something else in a month.
A high school cafeteria worker informs Kira and Tyce that their eczema has subsided thanks to the capsules they bought. Tice informs him that they still have a lot of product in stock, but the high school employee can’t afford it. After that, the girls offer him to become the ambassador of the company. They explain to him the principle of the suitcase and inform him that he will only have 800 euros to spend. And that he could take out a consumer loan to buy the suitcase. Kira assures that she could make a lot of money from all this. But the canteen employee asks them to think for some time.
At the end of the day, Claire and Florentine inform Kira that they have thought about it. Since he is about to turn 18, they agree that he continues to sell Tip Green products. But Florent insists: this work should not detract from his studies.
