The Italian Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo (Italcam) has elected a new Board of Directors for the next three years (2023-2026).
Entrepreneur Graziano Messana, of GM Venture, was unanimously re-elected president, with Cesar Alarcon, of Pirelli, and Rosario Zaccaria, of Enel, vice presidents. Fabio Ongaro of Energy Group is the new VP Finance, while Fabio Selan remains CEO.
The new directors are: Alessio Mainardi, from Zucchetti; Silvina Mirabella, of Luxottica; Gianfranco Giromini, of Banco Intesa SP; Adriana Mira, from Mira Mira; Lorenzo Luttichau, of the IMA; and Alida Bellandi, from Guarany.
“It is a great pleasure to be re-elected president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, an institution that has contributed to building the history of the economy of São Paulo and Brazil for over 120 years”, said Messana.
The Consul General of Italy in São Paulo, Domenico Fornara, stated that Italcam “distinguished itself for the efficient and well-integrated work carried out in the Italian System in recent years”. “The result of the growth can be seen: the number of associates has grown by 15% in the last year, there are many networking actions and the promotion of commercial opportunities between Italy and Brazil”, he added.
