Ferrari’s net profit grows by 24% in the first quarter

The brand delivered 3,567 units in the period

Ferrari closed the first quarter of 2023 with an adjusted net profit of 297 million euros, up 24% compared to the same period of 2022.

In all, the assembler delivered 3,567 units in the period, which represents a 9.7 percent increase over the first three months of last year.

Net income reached 1.4 billion euros, up 20.5%, while EBITDA (result before interest, taxes and depreciation) was 537 million euros, up 27%.

“Another exceptional quarter for Ferrari, with double-digit growth in all key parameters,” said Benedetto Vigna, chief executive officer of the Maranello marque.

According to the executive, the ordering calendar extends to 2025, including the reopening of orders for the Purosangue, – Ferrari’s first four-door model -, which had been suspended due to “unprecedented initial demand”.

The Maranello-based automaker has had record results since it split from then-Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (now Stellantis) in 2016 and went independent.

The brand currently works with nine internal combustion cars (65% of units sold) and four hybrids (35%). .
