On Monday, May 8, everything starts here…
Theo plans to turn the page
On the way to the institute, Anais tells Salome that she spent a very good weekend with Lisandro and talks about their future marriage. After seeing Marta and Theo kiss, Anais feels more ready to move on and focus on her relationship with her fiancé. However, Salome is a bit skeptical.
Meanwhile, Constance hesitates to take a three-month osteopathy course in Paris. Theo and Charlene cheer him on. Before her brother goes back to work at the institute, Charlene has some fun with him. Martha clearly gets a kiss in disguise. But Theo says that nothing is obvious to him at this point.
At Double A, Lisandro suggests Anais hire someone to organize their wedding, which he thinks is a good idea. The master of the room is relieved to see him prepare with such enthusiasm that for a moment he believes that she accepted his request just to please him.
In turn, Charlene tells Jude that her brother will finally be able to forget Anais thanks to Martha. So she offers her friend not to perform the double A service so that Theo can replace her with Marta and be able to get closer to her. Judas allows himself to be convinced.
Theo falls behind in the full afternoon service. When Marta offers to help him send it, his first response is refusal. But when a young woman immediately finds a solution to Sauce’s problem, she finally gets it.
After releasing the desserts, Theo thanks Marta for her precious help. Then they find out that customers don’t like papaya for dessert. Theo remembers that he already wanted to replace this fruit with mango thanks to Anais’s idea. But he no longer remembers the exact recipe and prefers to leave the case.
Later, Anais and Theo accidentally bump into each other in the vegetable garden. As she helps him grasp the grass above, the young woman takes the opportunity to explain to Marta the subject of her kiss. Theo replies that he has no right to be jealous after what he told her in the swamps. Anais admits that she didn’t mean what she said, adding that she still did well because she’s clearly moved on. Theo says it’s not that simple, then leaves.
He finds Jude in the kitchen to confide in him. His friend feels that Anais is playing with him and that he should focus on other relationships. He also reveals that it was Charlene’s idea to drop him off during the service so that Marta could replace him. Judy suggests letting him run again the next day to see what he might be like. Theo admits he can’t wait for Anais to change her mind…
Solal volunteers to help Rose
A publisher contacted Teissier to express his desire to publish a book about the chefs who work at the institute. Tasked with writing it, Rose is happy to be able to carry on her father’s legacy through school portraits and recipes. Antoine shares his joy. Rose then considers hiring a 1st year student to help her with her new task.
So she continues her sister course in the atelier to present the idea to the first year. Most people are interested, which does not calm Solal down. Thus, the latter offers the master director to decide between them their motivation. So Rose encourages them to give her a cover letter by the end of the day.
Later, when he sees Solal trying to write his cover letter, Lionel gently teases him with hints of his crush. Solal stands and denies in the block.
He then goes to the management office to make sure his cover letter has been received. Rose confirms this. Solal takes the opportunity to remind her of what she forgot to write, namely her writing skills. Antoine, who is also present, understands that he has come to sell himself as the perfect student for the project. Rose says she’s considering it. Solal leaves relieved.
Thomas looks at Lenglart
In the studio, Kelly prepares for her next Year 1 class with Lenglart. But the latter quickly notices that his assistant is not concentrating. Kelly admits that she’s having a hard time accepting his claims, just like last week on Miss Blanket, when she’s under the impression that she’s doing everything.
Lenglart advises her not to take his remarks personally, then offers to replace her with another student if she doesn’t want to work with the chef as required of her. Kelly defends herself and assures her that she will get there. He then chooses three ingredients that the students will have to work around: mushrooms, comtĂ©, and chicken fillet.
Meanwhile, Laetitia confides in Thomas that their daughter hasn’t been well all weekend, after the problem with Lenglart. So he asks her to find out about his colleague to check his behavior towards Kelly.
In the class, Lenglart instructs the first year to cook a meal around three ingredients chosen by Kelly in just 30 minutes. At the same time, Thomas goes to the workshop and claims that he forgot the robot. He takes the opportunity to survey the scene.
Kelly presents her own 1-year-old dish: Chicken Maki with Cordon Bleu Mushrooms. After examining his plate, Lenglart declares that this should not be done. Indeed, Kelly missed her mushrooms. Lenglart reveals his mistake to the students. Only Samia defends Kelly, given the time she had for such a technical recipe. As the first year gets to work, Kelly starts again on her plate.
Thomas then assures Leticia and Lionel that Lenglart’s behavior is in no way inappropriate or disturbing. To him, his attitude toward Kelly proves that he wants to help her progress.
