Friends premiered in American homes on September 22, 1994 on the NBC network and just two years later in France on April 16, 1996 on the Canal Jimmy cable channel. Viewers will then discover six friends from the series – Monica, Rachel and Phoebe for the girls, and Ross, Chandler and Joey for the boys – who will now be part of their daily lives for the ten years that the show will run.
