Online cinema Okko and the production company Sreda announced the start of filming of the ten-episode psychological thriller Trassa. The series will tell the story of a woman who goes in search of her missing adopted daughter and is faced with a whole criminal network that kidnaps teenagers and sells them.

According to the plot, the resort town in Stavropol becomes the scene of a terrible crime. There, a thirteen-year-old girl shoots her sleeping family at dawn. — mother, father and grandmother. Afterwards, she tries to hang herself in the barn. A neighbor comes running to the shots and pulls the girl out of the noose. The head of the district police entrusts the investigation of a high-profile case to investigator Elvira Baraeva.

The project will be directed by Dushan Gligorov, cameraman — Batyr Morgachev, screenwriter — Oleg Malovichko, producers — Alexander Tsekalo, Ivan Samokhvalov, Oleg Malovichko. Together they created such hits as “Crystal” and “Chimera” with such a team. Karina Razumovskaya, Alexander Ilyin, Anna Mikhalkova, Elizaveta Ishchenko, Semen Serzin, Alexei Fateev, Vasilisa Nemtsova, Gennady Smirnov, Elena Litvinova, Sergey Umanov, Danil Steklov, Ekaterina Stulova, Valentin Antsiferov and others will take part in the series.

Filming will take place in Essentuki, Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, and then the group will go to St. Petersburg. The Trassa series will premiere exclusively at Okko in 2024.
