Netflix: With 81.85 million hours watched, AKA becomes the most watched French film on the platform

It’s barely been released on Netflix and it’s already a global hit. AKA’s thriller quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s most-watched foreign-language films. But Morgan S. The action film directed by Dalibert is even stronger as it became the most watched French feature film on the platform.

In just two weeks of operation, the thriller, directed by Alban Lenoir, topped the list of best views in 56 countries, including France, Germany, Canada, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Thailand and even Qatar.

As Le Film Français explains, according to Figures published by Netflix on the official websiteAKA has been watched 81.85 million hours worldwide since it was released online on April 28.

These numbers allow it to steal the spot from Louis Leterrier’s Loin du Périph, which was the most-watched French film of all time on Netflix with 78.63 million hours watched. AKA, produced by Inoxy Films and Nolita Cinéma, can now boast of being the flagship of French Netflix Originals internationally.

As a reminder, Netflix takes into account the first 28 days of the broadcast of its works for rating. This means that AKA can achieve excellent scores for the next two weeks and manage to beat other viewing records.

After the success of Guillaume Pierre’s Balle Perdue and Balle Perdue 2, Alban Lenoir is again a big hit with AKA. With his skills in martial arts and experience in stunts, the actor plays Adam Franco, an undercover agent who does the dirty work wherever needed.

His new mission: to integrate a mafia organization in France in order to prevent an imminent terrorist attack in the capital.
