‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’: Drax actor rates trilogy as ‘bittersweet’

Dave Bautista, actor who brings the character Drax to life in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy, seems to have changed his perception of the importance of this figure in his trajectory. “These movies changed my life, so the end of that journey is bittersweet,” the actor said.

He revealed that Drax’s evolution in recent years has been instrumental in building the new image of the character, leaving behind the first film version. “He just wants to enjoy life and help people along the way. But I think all the rage and anger has been drained out of Drax and now it’s gone. He now he’s a loving and caring character.”

I am very attached to everyone [do elenco e equipe] and very proud of what we have accomplished, but at the same time I think all things must come to an end and my career is taking a different path. […] We have become a family. We spent a lot of time together, not only during filming but also promoting the film and making appearances together. The cast of the trilogy has remained the same, withChris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoë Saldañalike Gamora, Dave Bautista like Drax, Vin Dieselas Groot (voice), Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice), Karen Gillan as Nebula and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” is playing in all theaters.
