HPI on TF1: Will Morgan end up in prison?

Please note the following lines contain spoilers for HPI Season 3 Episode 2, which airs next Thursday on TF1. If you don’t want to know, don’t read!

This Thursday night, Morgan Alvaro (Audrey Fleurot), PAF’s most suave consultant, made a big comeback on TV on TF1 during the HPI season 3 broadcast. And in this first episode, fans of the detective series had the sad pleasure of discovering that Forties has cut ties with all his colleagues since the events of the end of season 2.

Now he has become a janitor again and it is difficult for him to support himself. But old habits die hard… Morgan finds it hard not to get involved in his new boss Emily’s life.

When the latter admits to being tormented by a mysterious stalker, the 40-year-old decides to return to work and begins an investigation to find the culprit. Unfortunately, after a series of unfortunate events, Morgan finds himself unwittingly arrested by the police, who find him next to Emily’s lifeless body.

Just then, Karadetz (Mehdi Nebibu) arrives to investigate and discovers the face of suspect number 1 as he is taken away by the police.

Will Morgan end up behind bars?

By the end of this episode 1, Morgan’s future seems compromised. Everything points to the former consultant being responsible for Emily’s death. So it’s no surprise that Morgan is sent to Alvaro Prison to be investigated by the police.

Of course, he’s not going to stand by his former teammates to prove his innocence. Unsurprisingly, he becomes involved in their investigation and independently uncovers leads that will help them with their fellow prisoners.

This original episode, full of humor and funny scenes, should please HPI fans, who will also have the opportunity to witness the long-awaited reunion of Morgan and Karadek.
