‘The Big Bang Theory’: Kaley Cuoco shares an emotional memory of the series

Can you believe it’s been three years since the last episode aired?

Kaley Cuoco Has Reminisced About Her Years On ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Now that it’s been three years since the last episode aired.

In an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ Cuoco got emotional and opened up about how his father, Gary, became part of the live audience for the filming of each of the episodes of the series. That’s a total of 279 episodes, by the way. “He had a director’s chair named after him,” she revealed. “But he never sat on it. He always stood up. And every night, at the time of opening the curtain and doing the introductions, he was on top and giving me the thumbs up.”

As Kaley went on to explain that the entire cast and crew gave her father the thumbs up, she told how the audience in attendance soon took notice and began to do so as well. “The whole audience ended up doing it,” he added. “It was like something weekly. It was very special for all of us”.

The actress continued, “My dad still misses our live tapings on ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ I couldn’t do a show without him at the time, it had been so many years. And I kept thinking, ‘Well, you can’t miss it now that you’re part of the show.’

Recently, Cuoco Opens Up About How She Sought A Role In Rian Johnson’s ‘Backstabbing’ Sequel, But Couldn’t Get It. “I was so convinced that I already had to pack to go to Greece. And then I didn’t understand it. I was so devastated. And I’m not [normalmente] devastated by these things,” she said. “I had done readings, I had done Zooms. And I didn’t get it. I cried and cried all night. And they gave it to Kate [Hudson], which is great. And the next day I got a call about ‘Meet Cute’.”

“They said, ‘We have an interesting script.’ And I said, ‘I don’t want to read anything. I suck. No one loves me.’ And they said, ‘You have to read this.’ And Pete [Davidson] I was already in the cast, and I said, ‘Okay, I’ll read it.’

“And when I did, I was like, ‘This is the most magical little script I’ve ever read. And I never would have made it if I’d been caught in ‘Daggers in the Back 2’“.
