A woman dies after being hit by a car

The victim arrived in serious condition and did not resist the wounds, having confirmed the death in the early morning of this Saturday (13).

On the night of this Friday (12), around 10:30 pm, a 30-year-old woman, from Farroupilha, was shot in Rua José Perini, almost at the corner of Rua Cristiano Ramos de Oliveira, near to the JA mechanic, in the Desvio Rizzo district, in Caxias do Sul. According to the information in the Military Brigade’s report, the victim was inside a white Fiat/Palio car when a black car, still unidentified, stopped nearby and fired several shots.

The woman was hit by two shots in the chest area, while her companion, who was in the passenger seat, was not hit and resumed the direction of the vehicle, taking her to Pompea hospital. Unfortunately the victim arrived in serious condition and she did not resist the wounds, having confirmed the death by the health institute in the early morning of this Saturday (13).

With this crime, the city of Caxias do Sul has already recorded 38 homicides in 2023, the third only in the month of May.
