Sweden’s Loreen became the festival’s first two-time women’s champion
Italian Marco Mengoni finished fourth in the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool, which had its final played on Saturday night (13).
Winner of the Sanremo Festival in 2023, Mengoni came close to the podium with the song “Due vite”, totaling 350 points.
Swedish Loreen, with “Tattoo”, scored 583 points and won the title, becoming the first woman to win the contest twice. Followed by the Finnish Kaarija (“Cha Cha Cha”), with 526 points, and the Israeli Noa Kirel (“Unicorn”), with 362.
Loreen had already been Eurovision champion in 2012, with “Euphoria”. .
