This is where everything begins, an unexpected rapprochement happens between Rose and… Solal! Indeed, the characters played by Vanessa Demoy and Benjamin Duba Paris have a common project and are therefore led to work together.

During these work sessions, the student gradually falls under the spell of the director of the graduate program at the Auguste Armand Institute…who is nevertheless in a relationship with Antoine (Frederick Diefenthal)! Will he share his feelings?

For AlloCiné, Vanessa Demowe reveals the rest of the plot for the TF1 series…

AlloCiné: No one expected Solal to develop a weakness for Rose…

Vanessa DeMoy: He has good taste (laughs) Rose is commissioned by the Institute to write a book. This is how he returns to his first love. He will paint the portraits of the chefs working at the institute with his vision. He doesn’t care about cooking and wants to know who the chefs are behind the recipes.

Rose has the idea to ask for an escort in the first year to try to look at chefs and the profession in a different way. Solal is chosen and during this association with Rosé he will feel the growth of wings (laughs) I did not expect that!

What did you think of this attraction when you found it in the script?

Feelings have no age, color, gender. It happens. Then, knowing whether or not that story will be shared…

Are Rose and Antoine’s couple weakened?

Suits Antoine well! He is still with her and running his course.

Can Antoine forgive her for a possible second prank?

The greatest drama of Rose’s life is the lack of motherhood. So anything that looks like a child between the ages of 0 and 25—the age that might be her oldest child—can’t be gendered in her eyes. It doesn’t exist.

The insight that the public will have about what they think they see or what they believe they hear is very interesting… but Rose-Solal’s account lacks uncertainty on her part. Anything can lead to interpretation on the part of Solal and the public, but not on the part of Rose.
