Stranger Things 4: 5 The question we ask ourselves after the first part

Warning, spoilers! This article describes in detail the main plot elements of Stranger Things Season 4, Part 1. If you have not seen all seven episodes and do not want to spoil it, do not read!

The fourth season of Stranger Things has finally arrived. After a three-year wait, Netflix hit fans can finally return to Hawkins’s world (and its mirror world, deadly uprising) for seven long episodes.

Everything changed after their absence. To begin with, Joyce, Willie, Jonathan and Eleven no longer live in Hawkins and started a new life in California. Former police chief Jim Hopper is alive and well, but is in prison in Russia. And now a new threat is trying to instill fear into the hearts of the Hawkins people. This is Vekna, a new monster upside down.

If you’ve already played all seven episodes of Part 1, you already know it all, and the adventures of Eleven, Dustin Mike, and the rest will resume in a month as Stranger Things Season 4 splits in two. We will meet at 1 p.m.Eh July Part 2. And now you have a lot of tough questions after Part 1 because, yes, a lot has happened there. We collect supplies.

Will Hopper, Joyce and Murray manage to get out of Russian prison?

Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman) spent most of the fourth season rescuing Jim Hopper (David Harbor) from a Russian prison. To do this, they approached the Russian territory as close as possible, first going to Alaska. They encountered quite a lot of resistance along the way, but eventually, thanks to their diligence (and Murray’s surprisingly impressive fighting skills), they found a Russian fortress and rescued Hopper from Demogorgon.

Now that Joyce and Hopper are finally reunited, will they be able to escape from prison with Murray and Dimitri, Hopper’s former prison guard? Will Joyce and Hopper return to the Hawkins in the second half of Season 4?

Hopper and Dimitri

Will Nancy and Steve be together again?

One of the most unexpected stories in Part 1 is the flashback to Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) and Steve Harrington (Joe Curry). First introduced as the “Bad Boy”, but having straightened out his ways, Steve and Nancy’s relationship had its ups and downs, and Steve eventually accepted that Nancy had started a relationship with Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton). And since then he has been trying to move forward. Წwithout armatures.

However, this season it has become clear that there is a real chemistry between the two. Is it just a small twist when Nancy questions her relationship with Jonathan if it’s a real twist? While they are still upright, will this novel be renewed because of this new ordeal?

Will Nancy or Steve die upright?

Precisely because they are stuck in an upright position, the series raises troubling questions about their future. Before Steve survived a horrific death, the bats ate him alive, Nancy is now under the influence of Vekna.

Will Steve Nancy be able to come back before I kill him? Will he turn upside down again to be hunted by demonic creatures? And what about the wounds inflicted by bats?

Eleven (Miley Bobby Brown)

Will Eleven really regain his power?

Since Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) lost power at the end of Season 3, fans are wondering if he can and will regain them. Well, it seems that at the end of Part 1, Eleven is not only on a good path to becoming a “superheroine” again, as she claims at one point, but also to become stronger than she was. “It already was.

Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modain) is back from the dead and seems ready to help him regain full strength (and then a few), eleven times agreeing to take part in experiments he once underwent to reconnect with the past – and, by extension, regain his power .

Now that Eleven has figured out how to reach its full potential in the first place (and who is the main threat), it seems to be well on its way to rebuilding its capabilities. Once the military is on its way, its power returns in time. Can he stop them, prove his innocence, and return to Hawkins to rescue friends?

Can I lose eleven?

The seventh episode of Season 4 ends with a shocking revelation: Vecna is not upside down. No, it was number one (and the son of Victor Creeley): a power-hungry but vengeful young man disguised as a Hawkins Lab nurse who wants to transform the world by destroying it. However, Eleven completed its plans in 1979 when it resigned and sent it to Upside Down. This is the first time the portal has been opened in another dimension.

If eleven on their own can open the upright portals, so can Vekna. We have been able to realize this since every murder committed by Vecna opens a new portal. And if he is a loyal soldier of Mind Flayer, it is understandable that the only way to stop him would be to destroy him. Now we know that there can be only one person who can do it: eleven, especially if he increases his power.
