Senator Sérgio Moro, a former judge of the 13th Federal Court in Curitiba, said he was “shocked” by the decision of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) to revoke the mandate of federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol, former coordinator of the Operation Lava Jet task force in Parana. In his networks of him, he classified Dallagnol as an “honest voice in politics” and sympathized with voters in his home state Lava Jato.
The wife of the former judge and now Deltan’s former colleague in the Chamber, Rosangela Moro, said she was in solidarity with the Deltan Dallagnol voters. “He loses Paraná, loses the country, loses the Chamber of Deputies,” she said.
Federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (União Brasil-SP) also criticized the impeachment of Dallagnol, last Tuesday evening, with a unanimous vote in the TSE. “The impeachment of the deputy Deltan Dallagnol is ABSURD! It has no other name: it is POLITICAL PERSECUTION! Portrait of a country that punishes those who fight corruption and has as president a boy who led the most corrupt government in the history of the country. It is the mail pissing on the dog!” he wrote on Wednesday.
