Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Thursday May 18, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Evan learns the truth

Early this morning, Evan gets a call from a woman who tells him that Chloe has been cheating on him for two weeks. As the doctor finds it hard to believe him, the mysterious stranger confirms that this is true, then advises him to talk to his wife about Mark Moore to see how she reacts. On the other end of the line, Lorin is waiting for her accomplice to hang up on her to give her money.

Evan then goes to the hospital. Facing his concerned look, Claire tries to find out if everything is okay, but he brushes her off, which makes Lauryn smile.

Distraught, Evan leaves the hospital for fresh air and lights a cigarette. In the process, he receives a call from his wife, who informs her that she is going to the cinema with Aurelius tonight and will be home late. After thanking her for the warning, Evan declares that he loves her before adding that he can’t wait to find her. An uncomfortable Chloe quickly shuts down the discussion.

Suspicious, Evan calls Aurel. Unbeknownst to her, she confronts Chloe and declares that they are not expected to spend the evening together.

After dark, Evan waits for his wife to come home to confront him, asking if she’s been with Mark Moore…

Kira makes light with Jules

Mark wants to write an article about pyramid scheme scammers, but Louie flatly refuses to keep the relationship going. Indeed, the teenager is afraid that this news will fall on him, and he does not particularly want to lead with Kira.

Then he finds her in high school. As she tries to figure out why he didn’t respond to her messages, the latter explains that she didn’t want them to worry about Tip Green again. As she apologizes to him, Louis says he cares about her. That’s why he promises to leave her alone with all this. To seal their reconciliation, Kira and Louis kiss.

Not far from there, Leonore drops by Mark’s house to pick up Louis’ tennis stuff. An opportunity for him to get to know the subject of a mysterious woman he meets. Knowing full well that it is Chloe, Leonor fears their son’s reaction. However, Mark assures that he is handling the situation.

Kira later confides in Tice that she misses Louis. Although she’s relieved that her boyfriend has promised to leave her alone with Tip Green, Tice forces her to realize that society isn’t the problem. According to him, Louis is especially jealous of Jules. So she orders him to be more direct with Jules so that there is no more uncertainty between them.

At the hospital, Claire receives blood from Madame Gaillet, a client who bought diabetes medication from Thais and Kira. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, she wants to know if her weight gain is normal. Claire then confirms to him that it’s a side effect of the insulin. However, with a balanced diet, everything should quickly return to normal.

Shortly after, Madame Gayle ordered some Tip Green products from Thais for her beauty salon. It must be said that since he noticed the positive effects of the products, he wanted to share them with everyone.

Not far from there, Kira and Jules are drinking at 101. The latter takes the opportunity to tell Jules that nothing will happen between them because she is in love with Louis. Although she appreciates him immensely, she prefers that they stop seeing each other outside of work. After hearing that, Jules soon brings Kira to the tram.

Along the way, he confides that he has always had trouble feeling confident with women. Indeed, Jules took care of everything. With Kira, he thought differently. As she wants to know what his problem with women is, Jules tells him that he lost his mother when he was young and developed abandonment syndrome. As Kira thanks him for trusting her, Jules kisses him on the cheek before heading home.
