‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ falls in love with the networks with little Leia, his own Baby Yoda

Revealed the great secret of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’, viewers have already surrendered to their new and adorable little idol. Will it make us forget Grogu?

If you follow our social networks, you will already know that we are at the Star Wars Celebration in Los Angeles. And if you are not in California, the celebration continues in the same way because the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ series has arrived on Disney +. Despite the total triumph of ‘The Mandalorian’ and the irregular ‘The Book of Boba Fett’, with the permission of ‘Ahsoka’, we are talking about the most anticipated series from the beginning. It is, after all, the only one based on a key character in the saga, on a Jedi Master with all the letters.

Anyone would have thought that with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, there was more than enough to ensure the future of the series. But, as the Boba Fett series, which she only picked up when she tugged on Baby Yoda, has perhaps alarmingly shown, it may take a cute little stunt.

Spoilers for the first two episodes of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’

‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ has found his own Baby Yoda, and the truth is that we should have assumed it. While trailers for the series showed us the Jedi keeping a close eye on Luke, we know from the movies that it’s not known until a few years later. This is not the case with Leia, who sends the mythical help message to Obi-Wan through R2D2. Well, it turns out that what the series actually tells us is the story of how Obi-Wan meets little Leia. As he discovers in her the personality of a leader, the rebelliousness that would make this “princess” unforgettable and different, and her courage. Although some have felt something bad about this talkative young woman played by Vivien Lyra Blair, the truth is that most have been moved by the fidelity to the personality of the character, with the traits of her mother, Padme, and with the references in her wardrobe and hairstyle.

The first two episodes of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ are now available on Disney +, which will premiere one more every Friday, up to the 6 that make up the miniseries.
