Teissier decides Hortense’s fate

At the atelier, chef Armand admits to Hortense that Teissier does not yet know that he has been chosen to replace Guinotte. But he reassures her about it. Then she introduces him to the 2nd year students. Hortense takes, began her lesson stretching everyone to relax.

Afterwards, Hortense makes the students work on the abalone, whose meat must be well processed to be edible. He therefore gives personal advice to each student for this part of the work.

After class, Vicki asks Tom and Devra what they thought of her sister’s class. Livio joins their discussion. If Tom is quite confident, Deva remains a little in reserve. He wonders if Hortense will be able to prepare them well for the exams. Livio doesn’t really understand Tacey’s choice to choose a student over a chef for this position. Deva then confesses that she heard that the director of the institute did not know. Livio immediately takes care of him.

A little later, Clotilda comes into Emmanuel’s office to talk to him about Hortense. But the director has already informed Livio, and he realizes very badly that the decision was made without his agreement. He intends to fire Hortense and find someone more competent. But Clotilde informs him that there is no other alternative. Constance, who witnesses their exchange, prefers not to get involved.

At the park, Hortense and Mehdi meet Eugene, who has come to apply for a position as a substitute school nurse. Happy for her mother, Hortense is still very sad to be banned from continuing her lessons as a substitute teacher.

Eugene then goes through an interview with Constance to get to know her at the infirmary. Two women come to talk about their children. Eugene admits that he doesn’t spend enough time with his daughters because of work, and plans to make up for lost time, especially since he’s happy to let Hortense flourish the way he chose. However, Eugene adds that his daughter is very saddened by Tessie’s decision. Constance offers to talk to him about it.

When leaving, Constance said goodbye to her family members. She spends a privileged moment with her husband, who advises Hortense to give her a chance.

In the park, Hortense shows Chef Armand the lessons she prepared for the students. Teissier interrupts them. The latter agrees to give a chance to the 3rd year on the condition that he proves himself the next day in his presence to all the teachers of the institute…

Anais is ready for a new relationship

Anais takes the opportunity to talk to Constance as she goes to the infirmary because of a sore hand. The latter, who will go to Paris for 3 months, admits that he was relieved that his son is in a relationship with him.

On her way out of the hospital, Anais meets Lisandro, who does whatever it takes to cancel their wedding preparations. Slowly he realizes that their story is really over. Anais also gives him back the house key before giving him a hug. Charlene sees them together from a distance.

It doesn’t take him long to warn Theo of what he saw. But the young man is not jealous at all, because he fully trusts his lover.

Ethan and Samia are having a crisis

Ethan joins Billy and Samia at the park. He discovers that his girlfriend is filling out an online application to join the next year-long class at Rome’s prestigious Villa Medici, which starts in a month. Samia is particularly motivated. But Ethan is nervous because he didn’t tell her about it before.

While on duty at Double A, Ethan confides in Axel. The two boys are called to order by Inesta, who instructs them to get away from the customers. Distracted, Ethan drops his plate on the floor.

After the serve, Iniesta grabs Axel, Ethan and another teammate to work on their speed through some drills. Ethan isn’t doing too badly.

Later, Samia finds Ethan at the hostel. He apologizes for not telling her about his plans sooner, but figures there’s still very little chance he can take her. Ethan still finds himself thinking more about his career than their relationship. He thinks that it is better for them to part ways.
