‘The Flight Attendant’: will there be season 3 with Kaley Cuoco on HBO Max?

This is everything we know about the continuation of the series. How will the story continue after that intense ending?

We want a third season of ‘The Flight Attendant’, and soon! The HBO Max series has not yet confirmed its continuation, but we have no doubt that the streaming platform will not let one of its most popular and fun series of the moment escape. Neither will Kaley Cuoco, who was nominated for an Emmy for the first season and could repeat this year. Waiting for it to be confirmed that we will continue to see Cassie Bowden in season 3 of ‘The Flight Attendant’, we gather all the information that appears about its renewal, release date, synopsis, cast and more.

Based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian, the series reunited us with Casie Bowden in the spring of 2022 with a second season that began with a radical change of life for the protagonist: she has moved to Los Angeles, celebrates a year of being sober in the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, maintains a stable romantic relationship, continues to work as an airline stewardess… and on top of that, she has started doing work as a spy for the CIA. There is nothing. Nevertheless, Cassie doesn’t have everything under control, and her perfect life will unravel episode by episode in a season full of intrigue, persecution and many existential crises.. Also a key question: who is Cassie’s double in ‘The Flight Attendant’? Who has been posing as her to make her look guilty of a series of murders?

Arriving at the end of season 2 of ‘The Flight Attendant’, the protagonist will have to learn to love and forgive herself while dealing with threats that come from different fronts. The ingredients remain the same (crazy comedy, mystery thriller, Kaley Cuoco’s overwhelming charisma…) and we hope they stay the same in the third season. We collect here everything we know so far: it’s confirmed? When will the release date be? What will happen in the story? Who will return to the cast? In constant update.

‘The Flight Attendant’: is season 3 confirmed?

Unfortunately, There is still no official confirmation from HBO Max regarding the third season of ‘The Flight Attendant’. However, there is high hope that they will do so soon, given the success of the series and the threads that the story has left behind. Last year, HBO announced the renewal of the series just one day after the last episode of the first season aired. Will they do the same this time? Or will we have to wait? If confirmed, it is likely that we can have the third season in the summer of 2023.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE SECOND SEASON BELOW

‘The Flight Attendant’, season 3: how will the story continue?

    the flight attendant 2x07

The end of the second season of ‘The Flight Attendant’ has been full of surprises. First, after the suicide of Grace St. James (who confessed to being the person who was impersonating her), Cassie learns that Dot Karlson, the head of the CIA, has been pulling the strings of this whole plot. She has also supplanted her (wow, there was more than one double committing crimes here and there) and in the last episode she threatens to complete her plan and kill her. Luckily, Agent Benjamin Barry has put all the pieces of the puzzle together and arrives in time to stop her.

But beware, that is not the only threat facing the protagonist: Jenny, one of her colleagues in Alcoholics Anonymous, kidnaps her brother Davey and plans to kill her, but luckily they are unharmed.. And all why? Because Feliks (yes, Cassie’s ex who killed Alexander Sokolov in season one and started this whole series!) manipulated her from jail for weeks to use her for revenge on her.

Now yes, Cassie is safe. In the last scenes of the season we jump a month to see that the protagonist is sober and happy again. She is still in AA, working as a stewardess and collaborating with the CIA, but the foundations of this life are much stronger than they were at the beginning. Even she is able to call her mother and begin the path to reconciliation. In the end, she attends Annie and Max’s wedding in Las Vegas. And end.

What can we expect in the third season of ‘The Flight Attendant’? On the one hand, Annie and Max are going to create a private investigation agency to unleash the abilities they have discovered in this season.. Thus, Annie finally finds her job path after being very lost for months. The new season would explore this new venture and the relationship between the two characters, now married. I could also explore Miranda’s business, whom we could see in the fourth episode. Her relationship with her assistant (played by Kaley Cuoco’s sister) is hilarious and could have a lot of potential. And on the other hand there is Megan, who has finally stopped running and has managed to make a deal with the CIA: she has provided them with very valuable information about North Korea and, in exchange, they have reunited her with her family in a safe house. of witnesses. It feels like this is the end of the story for her and We don’t think Megan is going to be a series regular again..

And Cassie? doCould she get back the beautiful relationship she had with Marco? Will she fix things with her mother? Will she follow her in Los Angeles? Will she climb the ranks as a CIA agent? With a new mystery, the series could easily rekindle her life and give us new episodes with her at the center, or maybe it’s time for her to go secondary to give prominence to the golden secondary that the series has… There will be what to wait to see it.

‘The Flight Attendant’, season 3: cast

kaley cuoco in the second season of the flight attendant

If we can be clear (very clear) it is that Kaley Cuoco will return as Cassie Bowden in a third season of ‘The Flight Attendant’. The actress is the soul of the series, both as the protagonist and in the role of executive producer, and it seems that her character still has many paths to explore personally and professionally.

Among the secondary, we hope to see again in the new episodes:

We are not so sure if we will see Megan again (Rosie Perez), who has very clearly closed her story, or the criminals Jenny (Jessie Ennis), Felixs (Colin Woodell), Gabrielle Diaz (Callie Hernandez), Esteban Diaz (JJ Soria) and Dot Karlson (Cheryl Hines), all of them presumably in jail right now. There is also Marco (Santiago Cabrera), Cassie’s ex who might come back to give her a second chance.

Now this series is full of surprises and we never know what characters from Cassie’s past they may bring back and what new signings await us on the horizon. We’ll be alert!
