‘Fast X’: These are all the mysteries that the new ‘Fast & Furious’ movie has left unresolved

‘Fast X’ is the first part of the possible final trilogy of the ‘Fast & Furious’ saga. So it’s no wonder the new movie hasn’t tied it all up.

Although we expected a good final hook, we didn’t expect ‘Fast X’ to leave so many things unresolved: the fate of various characters in the air, a surprise return to explain and great unanswered mysteries.

So, while we try to recover from the major Dom-related plot twist, let’s dive into the new movie to try to outline everything that Fast & Furious 11 has to solve, as well as launch some theories of our own.

1. Will Dom die?

Let’s start with the biggest event. Dom and his son Brian find themselves in quite a bit of trouble at the end of ‘Fast X’, having fallen for Dante and Agency boss Aimes, who has been working with the villainous Momoa, all along. time.

Dom and Brian are at the bottom of a dam where Dante has planted several bombs that are about to explode.. A huge tidal wave will hit them and apparently they have no way to escape.

It would obviously come as a huge surprise if Dom and his son died before the end of the franchise, so we’re almost certain they’ll survive. Be that as it may, the most entertaining thing we can do while we wait for the next movie is find out how they will do it.

What if Dom and Brian survive by surfing a piece of their car to safety?

2. Are Ramsey, Tej, Roman, and Han really dead?

After Aimes is revealed to be an insider, the man proves just how evil he is. firing a rocket at the plane carrying Ramsey, Tej, Roman and Han, who come to Dom’s rescue.

The rocket hits its target, one of the plane’s engines explodes and the plane begins to crash out of plane. Will they make it out alive? As with Dom, we’d be surprised if any of them died, but it could all be…

As for how they could survive, we have a theory. The last shot of them on the plane, after the rocket impact, shows that there are cars on board, so we assume they get on them and get out of the plane to safety.

In any other saga it would sound crazy. But in the ‘Fast’ saga, getting out of a plane and surviving is commonplace.

3. How did Gisele come back from the dead?

In addition to potential deaths, we also have a surprise return from the dead in the final scene of ‘Fast X’, with the face of Gisele (Gal Gadot).

Gisele is seen aboard the submarine that shows up to rescue Letty and Cipher in Antarctica, but we don’t get any explanation as to why she’s alive, how she got on that submarine, or if she’s working with Cipher, who seems to be the one who organized Giselle’s return.

The easy explanation is that Mr. Nobody could have faked his death like he did Han.

4. Will Deckard Shaw save his mother?

With all the drama at the end of ‘Fast X,’ it’s easy to forget that Deckard Shaw is on his own mission, at the same time that Dom falls into Dante’s trap.

When Dante gets the God’s Eye, he sends mercenaries after everyone who has helped Dom over the years. One of those people is Shaw’s mother, Queenieand vLet’s see Shaw head off to kill the people who have been sent to assassinate his mother.

It is the last time we see him in the movie, but if we go by his story, we think he will stop the villains. Maybe even his sister Hattie, whom we haven’t seen since the spin-off, ‘Hobbs & Shaw’, will lend a hand.

Speaking of that movie, ‘Fast X’ also brings back Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) who, in the post-credits scene, discovers that Dante is also after him. Will we see a ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ reunion in the next movie as they hunt down Dante?

5. Is Jakob dead?

Jakob, everyone’s favorite funny guy, protects Brian from the Agency before things go wrong in Portugal and Dante gets hold of him.

To help Dom avoid Dante’s thugs and rescue his son, Jakob sacrifices himself and blows up all his enemies’ cars with his car-cannon. It’s quite a spectacular explosion, and Jakob was probably dead.

In any other franchise, we’d say it’s 100% dead, but this is Fast & Furious and people have survived car explosions before. It would be overkill in this case anyway, especially since there seemed to be no way to escape.

But if they can find a way to bring Jakob back, we wouldn’t be mad either.

6. Where is Mr. Nobody?

The character Kurt Russell was already missing in ‘Fast & Furious 9’except for a few flashbacks. But now she hasn’t even appeared as a memory in ‘Fast X’.

He is present because his daughter Tess is in the Agency and has taken over his job of protecting Dom, (something necessary because his replacement, Aimes, is quite anti-Dom). Aimes even hates barbecues, in case you want to know how much he despises Dom.

There are a few references to his absence throughout the film, suggesting that this is a mystery that the saga will solve. The last time we heard from him, his plane had been hijacked by Jakob (when he was bad) and crashed.

However, when Dom and company went to the crash site, his body was nowhere to be found, so it’s clear he’s been hiding. Maybe Dante’s big threat is what gets him out, especially since Dante also has the Agency on his side.

7. Will Mia have something to do in ‘Fast & Furious 11’?

Just kidding (sort of). But, seriously, the ‘Fast & Furious’ saga needs to give Mia something to do in the next movie.

After Jakob took Brian to protect him from the Agency, Mia doesn’t even go with him and we don’t see her again in ‘Fast X’. Although, surely, it would also make sense for her to head to Dom’s secret rendezvous in Portugal.

But no, for the moment it seems that he stays in Los Angeles, doing nothing.

‘Fast X’ is already in theaters.
