With so many twists and so many cliffhangersincluding the one that has left us the post-credits scene of ‘Fast and Furious X’, the saga sets the stage for an explosive ending, but, as with most movies, some moments were scrapped in the cutting room.

Alan Ritchson, the actor who plays Aimes, the new leader of the Agency replacing Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody, stands as one of the new villains of the franchise… With ups and downs. Although he initially has his sights set on defeating Dominic Toretto, he eventually seems to decide to help him. But no, it was all a trap. The end of ‘Fast and Furious X’ reveals that Aimes is a double agent who has worked with Dante from the beginning.revealing that both were already partners in crime in the events of ‘Fast and Furious 5’ that triggered Dante’s desire for revenge.

However, Ritchson has revealed in an interview with ew that his bond with Jason Momoa’s character was even stronger in one of the alternative endings that were filmed:

“I don’t know if this is giving away too much, but we shot a couple of different stories,” said Alan Ritchson. “One of them revealed that Jason Momoa’s character [Dante] and Aimes were blood brothers. They were actually related, and one of the reasons they bonded was because of their genetic link. There’s a version in the editing room of that scene, but at the end of the day it was decided that the one that would remain in the final cut would be the other versionwhich is the one that is now in the film.”

“At the end of ‘Fast X’ we found out about this really amazing twist that there was an alliance between them all along, making him the bad guy. I really wasn’t sure which version of that was going to stick around, but I did I knew that there was a lot of duplicity in the character and that, ultimately, he was a bad guy, at least for now. We will see what the future holds for us.”

The actor told EW that He is not sure if he will return for ‘Fast and Furious X Part 2’, but admits that “I hope so”. Ritchson continued: “There’s been a lot of talk. I’m looking forward to playing the bad guy and going full throttle. Let’s see how he tries and if he’s successful in what he wants to do. You can decide if he’s bad or not, but yeah, I’m ready. ”
