Cristiano Ronaldo is dissatisfied in Saudi Arabia and wants to leave Al-Nassr

About five months after arriving in Saudi Arabia, striker Cristiano Ronaldo is already planning to leave the country. According to the Spanish newspaper sports worldthe 38-year-old athlete can’t stand playing for Al-Nassr anymore and is looking for another club to play for.

The Portuguese would be dissatisfied with his current team, being very uncomfortable with the lack of infrastructure in the country and the differences with the West. For this reason, Cristiano and his coach are looking for opportunities to return to European football or even move to other leagues.

Even if the historic Real Madrid number 7 intends to leave Saudi Arabia, a major obstacle could be his contract. Cristiano has a signed contract with Al-Nassr until mid-2025, where he receives 200 million euros (about R$1 billion in the current count) per season.

The large numbers of the striker’s contract could remove the interest of the teams from the Old Continent, which did not enter the race to sign him at the end of 2022 due to his high salary. If he wants to leave, CR7 will have to compensate the club for leaving without just cause.

The striker was introduced to Al-Nassr in January and has already appeared on the pitch 17 times, in matches in the Saudi League, Saudi King’s Cup and Super Cup. In all, Cristiano Ronaldo scored 13 goals.
