The cameo in ‘Succession’ that fans have overlooked and that is a nod to Brian Cox

A crossover with real life.

    Succession’ has made a crossover with the real life of Brian Cox in the penultimate episode of its fourth season.

    Episode 9 (‘Church and State’) of the critically acclaimed HBO series created by Jesse Armstrong properly bid farewell to the late Logan Roy (Cox). Among the attendees, Cox’s real wife could be seen (for more than 20 years), Nicole Ansari-Cox, among Logan’s numerous ex-wives and partners.

    Ansari, who has also appeared in ‘Law and Order,’ played the role of Sally-Ann, introduced by Lady Caroline (Harriet Walter).

    Earlier this year, Cox revealed that he and his wife had decided to renew their vows at a ceremony in Las Vegas.

    We were actually apart for a while—she had been away. So we sat down and said, ‘Where do we go from now? Are we done or do we continue?”, the actor told during an appearance on the program ‘Live with Ryan and Kelly’.

    And we thought: ‘Well, let’s go ahead and get married again’“.

    As for his professional adventures now that “Succession” has come to an end, Cox will next be seen in the Russo brothers’ upcoming Netflix film, “The Electric State.”

    He is part of an all-star cast that also includes: Millie Bobby Brownfrom ‘Stranger Things’, chris prattfrom ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’, Ke Huy Quan and Jenny Slate, from ‘Everything at once everywhere’. As well as Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Mackie, and Billy Bob Thornton.

    Cox will also appear in the horror comedy, ‘The Parenting’, and will lend his voice to the animated film, ‘The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’, which is scheduled to be released in 2024.
