On the KION platform, the premiere of a historical film about the times of Stalin’s personality cult, when people were haunted by fear for the fate of their relatives, hopelessness and distrust, denunciations, anti-Semitism and the struggle for a piece of bread – “For us with you” directed by Andrei Smirnov, known for his films “Belarusian Railway Station ”, “Autumn” and “French”. The main role of the beautiful Dina was played by Yuliya Snigir. Also in the cast of the film involved such stars of Russian cinema as Ksenia Rappoport, Irina Rozanova, Andrey Smolyakov, Leonid Yarmolnik and Alexander Ustyugov.
I am very grateful to Andrei Sergeevich for giving me this wonderful role. I don’t know what I did to deserve it. I immediately fell in love with the script. — so precise, so smart, so poignant. So — smart, piercing directing, a talented team and an amazing ensemble cast. I think that the movie turned out and I’m proud to be a part of it, – Snigir shares his impressions of working in the Snigir project.
Working with Andrey Smirnov was a pleasure – he, as a peer of that generation, shot the film in great detail, paying attention to every detail, which is now a rarity, and cameraman Sergei Medvedev had the opportunity to shoot on film and recreate the atmosphere of that time. When I came to Pavilion 9, it seemed to me that I was in my youth. One can envy the energy of Andrei Smirnov, he was so passionate about the idea of creating a film that he never got tired, and it is clear why such a wonderful film crew gathered around him, which became his own. The film turned out wonderful, and working with such people was happiness and a great responsibility for all of us, – Irina Rozanova supports her.
The plot of the picture will unfold in Moscow in the 1950s. Family members become heroes Kazimirovich, who are trying to maintain stability and survive against the background of sharp turns of fate in difficult times for the country. The film is already available for viewing by subscribers of the KION online cinema.
