RS: Woman’s body found on the sidewalk with a blow to the face

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) team was called and arrived at the scene and found the victim dead.

In the early hours of this Friday (26), a homicide occurred in the central region of Lajeado, a municipality located in the Taquari valley. The military brigade was called around 3:00 to respond to the incident, after receiving information that a woman was lying on the sidewalk of Rua Marechal Deodoro, near Praça do Chafariz.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) team was called and arrived at the scene and found the victim dead. Initial information indicates that the woman was hit by at least one gunshot to her face. The victim was identified as Emily Natália da Silva.

After isolating the area where the body was found, the Civil Police and the General Institute of Legal Medicine (IGP) were called to carry out the verification procedures. The body of Emily Natália da Silva will be admitted for an autopsy at the Department of Forensic Medicine (DML) of Lajeado. The Civil Police are investigating the case with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the murder.
