French Palme d’Or for director Justin Triet and his Autumn Anatomy at Cannes 2023

Two years after Julia Ducournau’s Titan, another French director won the prestigious Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Filmmaker Justin Triet was honored for Anatomy of the Fall, a thriller that follows the trial of a woman accused of murdering her husband a year ago. His young visually impaired son attends the instruction, a true dissection of the couple created by the parents before the tragedy.
