One thing is clear: Hayden Christensen has not returned to satisfy himself with an additional role in the Star Wars saga. Currently starring in the mini-series as Obi-Wan Kenobi as Darth Vader (he appears in the final scene of Episode 2), the Canadian actor will also soon be in the Ahsoka subtitles, a new series dedicated to Ahsoka Tano, former Anakin Skywalker Padavan.
While many fans of the Star Wars universe claim it, none of Darth Vader’s series is currently in Disney + projects. Still, the platform can rely on the support of Christensen, who confirmed this weekend, beyond the Star Wars celebration, his interest in the Dark Lord’s camp spin-off.
I think he is a character that echoes very deeply in our time and of course is even more to be explored … so many stories have been told in other narrative formats and I would gladly continue my journey with him.
There is no doubt that his words will not be ignored by Disney +; However, it remains to be seen whether the success of Obi-Wan Kenobi will be enough to generate spin-offs like The Mandalorian, which has declined rapidly in series produced, in particular, The Book of Boba Fett (available on Disney +). Ahsoka (expires in 2023) or Mandalore Bo-katan Kriz (in development).
Keep in mind that the next episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be offered every Wednesday exclusively on the Disney + platform.
