Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Wednesday May 31, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Elena returns to work at the gallery

Elena walks on the beach and remembers her relationship with Christian. He then finds Victor at Les Sauvages and tells him he won’t be coming to work for him at La Paillote. He returns to the gallery, but assures her that he has nothing to do with Christian.

He explains to her that there is a lot of work at the moment and that he does not want to leave Alix. A few seconds after leaving, Victor receives a mysterious call.

In turn, Helen finds Alix and Ulysses in the forger’s workshop. He explains to his friend that he realized now is not the right time for a vacation. Alix makes it clear: if she wants to continue working with them on this new painting adventure, she needs to calm things down with Christian and not be reprimanded.

Christian rushes over to look at Ulysses’ canvases. Elena apologizes to him for her attitude and promises Christian that she will put her feelings aside to be professional. Christian does not hide his irritation.

To ease the tension, Alix shows him the first painting of Ulysses. Christian is amazed by his work. She admires his talent and considers Tilo special. Christian then takes Alix to talk to her privately. Undeterred by his presence, he still tried to trap her. Alix then explains to her that Helen has heard her mistake.

But Christian no longer trusts Elena. Fortunately, Ulysses is talented, otherwise he would have given up by now. Then Christian gives him part of the money. He will have the rest as soon as the sale is over.

Alix shares the money with Ulises and Helen. The latter is embarrassed because he believes that he did nothing to win it. Elena is finally convinced and receives the money. He then goes to the forest for shooting practice. He clearly played in front of Christian.

Ulysses, on the other hand, goes to the neighbor. He came to offer Bilal to go with him to Australia. Bilal is embarrassed: traveling is expensive and he cannot afford it. Ulysses comforts her. Half of the money received is his, because if he didn’t make pigments, he wouldn’t be able to paint the canvas. But Bilal refuses to touch a single penny of this money.

Their conversation is interrupted by Alice’s arrival. Ulysses tells her about his plan to travel to Australia, but the young woman is surprised because such a trip is too expensive. Then the young artist tells him that he has sold a lot of paintings recently. But Bilal fears that his friend has heard everything.

Evan is out of trouble

After the injury, Evan is rushed to the hospital, where Allen takes care of him. The doctor’s pulse is very weak and he has lost a lot of blood. The doctors decide to immediately take him to the operating room. A shocked Chloe tries to explain to Allen what just happened.

The day dawned. Robin joined her mother at the hospital. He is worried sick and fears the worst. He doesn’t understand why anyone would want to shoot his father. Chloe tries to calm him down. Allen joins them and tells them that the operation went well.

They were able to remove the bullet from Evan’s shoulder and stop the bleeding. Allen feared that his lungs were affected, but fortunately, he was not. Evan is not in danger. But Allen decided to put her in an artificial coma to prevent her from suffering.

He will wake you up in a few hours. Chloe and Robin are relieved and hug each other. During this process, classmates call the teenager who wanted to hear from him and support him. Robin is touched and comforts them.

At the police station, Becker informs Ellis and Akim about the investigation. Two police officers are to interrogate Chloe Cresson. He was too shocked the night before to answer their questions. Two witnesses testified that they saw Evan shoot his wife to protect her.

Unfortunately, they have no information about the shooter and the car he was in. Becker then asks them to review neighborhood video surveillance to find the shooter’s license plate and dig into the lives of the Cresson couple.

At the hospital, Chloe is at Evan’s bedside. Lauryn comes to meet him to show her and the team’s support. Chloe thanks him and asks him to give all his thanks to the service for saving Evan’s life. Lauryn suggests she go home to rest, but Chloe prefers to stay with her husband.

In the evening, Mark calls Chloe to hear from her. He found out through Louis what happened to Evan. So he wanted to know how she was. Mark also reminds Chloe that he is there if she needs anything.

Claire interrupts this discussion to warn Chloe that her husband has come out of his coma and that she can go see him. The latter hastily turns it off, then joins Evan in his room. The doctor remembers everything that happened. Chloe reminds him that she saved his life. Evan admits to his wife that he was afraid of losing her. Mutual feeling. Evan tells his wife that he loves her.
