In December 2018, Spider-Man New Generation blew up the Marvel universe with an animated film that broke the codes of the genre. For many fans, this was simply the best Spider-Man movie ever.
Rated 4.4 out of 5 by AlloCiné viewers (an average of 11,296 ratings), The New Generation went straight to the top of the rankings, ahead of Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man (4 out of 5 stars).
Out in theaters on May 31st, Across The Spider-Verse has already received an audience rating of 437 on AlloCiné. The feature film is currently averaging 4.4 out of 5, the same score as the first opus.*

So, Spider-Verse is the best Weaver movie to connect with a new generation. It is followed by The First Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire (4 out of 5), then No Way Home with Tom Holland (3.9 out of 5).
Fans will have to wait a year before discovering the sequel on the big screen. It will land on April 3, 2024.
