After ‘Medical Center’, Lolita returns to the small screen as Espe, the leader of these kellys who will fight to keep her life and work afloat. FOTOGRAMAS has had the opportunity to speak with the protagonist so that she can tell us about this experience of becoming a chambermaid. The actress really wanted to do a series again. “It caught my attention because of what it was about, which was to focus on these women“, he assures. “I liked the cast, the director, the producer, Morena Films and I jumped headfirst. I was very excited because I think my character is sweet,” she confesses.

A role like this requires preparation, and she, like the entire cast, had to train to become housekeepers. They were taught to clean in the time that the Kellys really have to do a room, “which is minimal,” he qualifiesand in which a bed has to be made, mop and vacuum cleaner, etc.

Every time Spanish fiction welcomes more stories of female characters over 50 years of age “and it is something that gives me great joy“, declares the also singer. “I am already 65 years old, and I love to see that every time there are women of 45, 50, 60 or 80. I believe that an actress does not lose capacity if she is in her good moment and her head is fine. There are still interesting roles. In addition, women of a certain age have an experience that can teach youth”guess.

And it is that this project is a touching and very instructive story. “It is a perfect product to see with the family. You are going to learn and above all you are going to become aware that there is a group that is invisible, but in the end it is not so much. It is a production that has its moments of tears and drama, but there is also room for laughter.”

In fact, Lolita remains as a memory with the laughter and good vibes that she had so much on the set. “It is a fabulous team and I would love to see a second season and with the same cast“.
