Mehdi Hortense’s health is in doubt
Hortense prepares her things with the help of Mehdi and Vicky. Her boyfriend finds medicine on the floor. Hortense says it’s a potassium pill that must have fallen out of her pillbox. He tells Mehdi to throw it away.
Meanwhile, Eugene says goodbye to Teysier and declares that he will not be able to replace him in the infirmary. Teissier hopes that Hortense is nothing serious and that she will return to graduate from the institute. But Eugene prepares for all eventualities – even the worst.
Eugene then joins Hortense and Mehdi in the dorm. While his daughter continues to prepare things, Eugene invites Mehdi to come and see them in Bordeaux whenever he wants. He also lets it be known that Hortense will stay there if she ever gets sick. Mehdi then returns alone to his girlfriend’s room to retrieve the pill that was thrown in the trash.
At lunch, Eugene and Hortense enjoy the terrace, where Double A. Hortense slips in to say goodbye to some students. Chief Guino then informs Eugene that he is going to find a way to keep Hortense’s position before the school year starts. But Yevgeny says that his daughter is sick and she especially needs rest. Claire apologizes for upsetting him.
In the atelier, Hortense says goodbye to Jasmine and Amber. Livio enters the room to prepare for the lesson. Hortense is no longer angry with her and even assures her that she will do well. Livio promises him again that he will return his job as soon as he returns to the institute.
Mehdi, on the other hand, is talking to Chef Guinot in the corridor. Everyone hopes that Hortense will get better. However, Mehdi worries that her parents are fighting too much because of the divorce. Clary, who didn’t know, has a better understanding of why Eugene looked tense at lunch. Increasingly suspicious, Mehdi carefully studies the pill he took from Hortense’s room. Thanks to the inscriptions on it, he was able to do research on the Internet.
Meanwhile, Eugene and Hortense have their last coffee before leaving for Double A. But when Hortense gets up, she has a severe headache.
Mehdi immediately finds Vic to tell him of his gruesome discovery: the pill he found is not potassium, but thyroid medication, the side effects of which match Hortense’s symptoms. He suspects Eugene of deliberately poisoning him…
Solal declares his love for Rose
In the locker room, Solal is mocked by Lionel and David for his infatuation with Rose. But he takes it very seriously. In particular, he decided to try his luck, even if it meant giving up. Her conversation with Suleiman the day before actually reinforced her sense that Rose is not happy in her relationship.
In the vegetable garden, Suleiman receives a helping hand from his father. He takes the opportunity to talk to her about Rose and their recent fight that he witnessed. He urges Antoine to arrange something to catch up.
Antoine follows her advice and prepares an aperitif for his companion, as well as a restaurant reservation for dinner. However, Rose admits that she wishes they had this kind of attention for each other more often, and not just in times of crisis. Then Antoine is interrupted by Emmanuelle’s phone call. He goes to another room to pick it up.
At the same time Solal knocks on the door. Rose opens the door, surprised to see him. Then the young man begins to sincerely declare his love, hoping to find out if his feelings are mutual. But at the end of his tirade, Solal discovers that Antoine is present. He claims to have come to check on the book’s progress, then leaves.
Lenglart gives Tessier an ultimatum
Kelly finds Lionel in the park. She doesn’t regret having met Lenglart the day before to protect him. But she feels stupid for not listening to him sooner. The couple finally reconciled. They are interrupted by Lenglart, who expects an apology from Kelly. After he refuses, the chef accompanies him to Tacy’s office.
Confronted by the director, Lenglart claims that Kelly abused her in front of all the students. The young girl, who still refuses to apologize, says she was a victim of constant humiliation by her boss. Teissier decides to end their collaboration, but this is not enough for Lenglart. Therefore, he gives Tessier an ultimatum: either Kelly is fired, or he will stop giving master classes at the institute.
After which Kelly tells her mother about the incident that happened the day before, as well as the consequences that will cost her at the institute. So Laetitia invites Emmanuel to her place so Kelly can have a chance to explain better. The director clearly saw that Lenglart was a narcissistic pervert. Thus, he decided not to welcome her to the institute and to keep Kelly as a student.
