From Love, Fame and Beauty to Superman? This surprising actor plays the DC superhero James Gunn

Superman is not an anagram of the series. But Pierson Fodé intends to combine the two in his CV.

Between 2015 and 2018, seen in the cover of Thomas Forrester in 280 episodes of Love, Glory and Beauty, the American actor sent a video of himself to participate in the casting of the next DC feature film, which was dedicated to “The Man”. according to steel variety.

Increasingly widespread (Pierre Nini admitted to playing the game when Ridley Scott was making Alone on Mars), this method involves, to some extent, knocking on studio doors. And thus contradicts the tests of the actors and actresses called by the producer, which, on paper, are potentially of interest to the director.

Pearson Fode’s video features images of his childhood on a farm in Moses Lake, Washington. And James Gunn would have liked what he saw, although there was no official comment on it.

So it’s unclear whether the comedian will join Jacob Ellord, David Korensvet, Andrew Richardson and Nicholas Hoult (also mentioned for Lex Luthor according to some sources) among the contenders for the lead role in Superman Legacy.

If Pearson Fode was lucky enough to be the star of a film expected in France on July 9, 2025, his fate would resemble the memory of Sacha Kahle. Because the actress appeared in The Young and the Restless (273 episodes between 2018 and 2021) before becoming the Supergirl we discover in The Flash, in French cinemas from June 14.

Superman’s cousin, to whom Pearson Fode is no stranger, the one who appeared in the Supergirl episode (fifteenth of the 5th season).

A story without a sequel or the first step towards one of the most iconic roles in the DC universe? He’s clearly anxious to hear back, and wonders if he’ll get involved during Comic-Con in San Diego at the end of July.
