The Mandalorian: Bad news for Star Wars Season 4

It was in danger, and now it’s official: The Mandalorian’s fourth season has been delayed by several months, according to a news site production weekly ( with the help of Soon).

Due to the writers’ strike in Hollywood, the Star Wars series has been pushed back to next November, even though the scripts for eight episodes have already been written by Jon Favreau.

The strike movement effectively prohibits screenwriters from doing any paid writing work. The latter are also not allowed to go to the set to make changes to the scripts completed before the strike, and the showrunners are also no longer able to perform their duties.

A few series (including Dragon House) decided to continue filming despite the strike, but most chose to cease production. Thus, The Mandalorian adds its name to the list of series that are on hiatus until an agreement is reached between the writers’ union and representatives of American studios.

While it’s inevitable that the series won’t return until the start of the 2024 school year at best, many fans are hoping that Season 4 could be filmed alongside Season 5, which began writing there. a few months ago.

On the other hand, the strike will not affect the airing of the new Star Wars series Ahsoka (which premieres next August), nor The Acolyte, the prequel prequel, which has already finished filming (due in 2024).

The first three seasons of The Mandalorian are available now on Disney+.
