Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki is best known for his productions for Studio Ghibli, the anime studio he co-founded. The director’s latest film, entitled How do you livewill be released in theaters in Japan this July, but will have no previous release.

How do you live it will be Miyazaki’s last project as director, but it won’t have any trailers, promo photos, or synopses released.
The decision came from Studio Ghibli and studio head Toshio Suzuki spoke to Japanese media defending the strategy.
Fans will want to find out for themselves what the film is about. And for that, they’ll have to go to the movies.

What we know about How Do You Live
While almost no information about the film has been released, we do know How do you live It is not an adaptation of the book of the same name. The work written by Genzaburo Yoshino has already been described as one of Miyazaki’s favorites, but Suzuki confirmed that the title was only borrowed from the feature film.
The production will hit Japanese theaters on July 14. Although several international distribution deals have been signed, Brazil is not yet among them and there is no release date yet.
