This controversial comedy released in 2022 will already have its sequel at the end of the year!

In 2022, directed by Ali and Hakim Bugheraba, Les SEGPA tells the story of a team of broken hands who are fired from their facility. To their surprise, they combine the prestigious Franklin D. Roosevelt College.

The principal, unwilling to see his school’s reputation tarnish, comes up with a scheme to get rid of SEGPA while keeping the aid. As they enjoy their new lives, form friendships and become increasingly popular, SEGPA discovers the Headmaster’s Project. They then decide to do whatever it takes to foil his schemes.

After attracting over 700,000 viewers to cinemas last year, SEGPA will return in 2023 for a second episode! The title will bring back memories for fans of the Les Bronzés saga: SEGPA goes skiing! According to distributor Apollo Films, the sequel, still directed by Ali and Hakim Bugheraba, will hit theaters on December 27, 2023.

The entire cast of the first film returns for the second installment: Ichem Bouguereba, Walid Ben Amar, Arieles Amran, Cader Bueno, Charlie Niobe, Lahsen Amar, Anthony Pineiro and Emma Smith.

As a reminder, Les SEGPA is adapted from the successful web series of the same name created by Hakim and Ichem Boughéraba in 2016 and available on Youtube. Recall that the teaser of the first feature film caused controversy due to the unfavorable representation of Segpa students, who were already stigmatized in society.
