May 30 on the territory of the House of Culture “GES-2” together with the creative association Arthouse a private screening of the film “The Wolf” by the Italian director Natalie Biancherri took place. Jacob is a wolf trapped in a human body. Once in a specialized clinic, he, along with other patients, experiences cruel methods of treatment. But everything changes after meeting the mysterious Wild Cat, which makes him feel the bestial power and self-confidence.
Biancherri got the idea for the film after watching a news story about a woman who felt like a cat. Creating the image of a clinic in a birch grove, Biancherri was inspired by the landscapes of the Russian photographer Alexander Gronsky. Starring the charismatic duo of George MacKay (1917, True History of the Kelly Gang, Captain Fantastic) and Lily-Rose Depp (Planetarium, Dancer, Tusk). During pre-production, lead actor George MacKay went outside every morning to see dog walkers and learned to move around on all fours.

Film critic Yegor Moskvitin presented the film to the guests, and after the screening, the film was discussed in an informal setting.
The guests of the premiere were Vlad Lisovets, Masha Fedorova, Inga Berman, Maria Tarasova, Vasilisa Kuzmina, Svetlana Stepankovskaya, Anar Khalilov, Marie Koberidze, Margarita Abroskina, Oleg Trofim, Nikita Volkov, Oleg Gaas, Alexander Shulgin, Oksana On, Olya Slovo, Elina and Galaktion Tabidze.
The film “Wolf” will be released in Russian cinemas on June 2 and will be shown at GES-2 Kino, and in July it will be exclusively available on the Wink video service.
