Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Friday, June 9, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Helen offers Claire to help her find Victor

Early in the morning, Claire harasses Enzo with questions to find out how often Helen went to the savages to see Victor. He does not observe the customer, the young man has no idea. Annoyed by his mother-in-law’s relentless questions, Enzo goes to work.

When Florenti is alone with his companion, Florenti takes the opportunity to inform him that if Enzo and Victor were not told anything, it was to keep him from going on a rampage. Furious, Claire reminds him that Helen is dangerous and that she destroys those who approach her. Florenti then begins to mix things up before specifying that Victor is allowed to stay away for a few days without informing him. Besides, they don’t even know if he is with Ellen or not. However, Claire finds it strange that her father disappears just as Elena comes back into her life. According to him, this cannot be a coincidence.

Claire then goes to work and confides in Allen and David about her father’s disappearance. Although he has no desire to interfere in what does not concern him, Dr. Alfandi assures that there is nothing to worry about. According to him, Helen’s problems completely disappeared after she changed her hypertension treatment. He is sure that if Elena had a relapse, she would immediately come to him for counseling. An opinion shared by David.

At nightfall, Claire made an appointment with Helen at the thatched hut. Although she’s glad he called her, Elena knows she only wanted to talk to him about Victor. He has not heard anything for two days and is starting to get nervous. He finally saw it the day before yesterday. While on his way home for dinner, Victor almost crashed his car. In a hurry, he immediately canceled their meeting and then hit the road again. Since then, Elena has tried to approach him many times, but to no avail.

For Ellen, Victor is in danger. That’s why he suggests to Claire that they look for him together.

LAUMIÈRES filed a complaint

At Cresson’s, Chloe, Robin, and Evan discuss summer vacation. And that’s a good thing, because Chloe spotted an interesting offer to stay in Mykonos. Although excited, Evan thinks it’s a little premature because he doesn’t know how it will go over his shoulder. Despite everything, Chloe is optimistic.

Later, Evan gets a call from Janet, who wants to know if Lauryn sent the letter to the hospital. Although he has no proof, the doctor is sure of it. In turn, Dr. Lewis accuses his colleague of having an affair with an intern. In addition, Janet fears that Lorin will use this story to her advantage and portray her as a victim. According to Evan, it would not be in his interest to do something like that. Janet then announces that she will sanction Lauryn by changing jobs.

After a while, Janet calls Lorin into her office and advises her to change department. Not surprisingly, the young woman pretends not to understand and then asks the older man if he has anything to say. Without further ado, Janet reminisces about her fling with Evan before pointing to an anonymous email. Of course, Lorin pretends to be a victim and declares that it is impossible for her to leave. As Janet refuses to let her stay at her job, Lauryn replies that she is not going to let her go.

Not far from there, Allen walks up to Evan and takes the opportunity to eavesdrop on him to hear from him. When things are back to normal at home, Evan realizes that he’s a little worried. Chloe puts so much energy into their reconciliation that it feels fake. In other words, Evan thinks his wife is back because of guilt. The craziest thing about all of this is that even if they don’t get off to a good start, Evan would rather just leave it at that.

At the same time, Chloe is walking on the beach with Aurelius. While she might do anything to make things right with Evan, Aurelie noticed that her friend wasn’t too happy. Indeed, she feels the couple swept everything under the carpet. So she urges him to follow couples therapy to prevent their problems from reoccurring. However, Chloe has no desire to dwell on the past and wants to move forward.

At nightfall, Superintendent Becker receives a call from Claudine. The latter informs him of the serious allegations that Janet made against Lorin. At Laumières’ request, Claudine contacts the hospital director to inform her that the procedure will begin, as Lorin accuses Dr. Cresson of sexually abusing her. Therefore, François Laumier wants to file a complaint not only against the doctor, but also against the hospital, because Jeanette tried to cover up for her colleague. Claudine then tells Becker that they can negotiate if Janet apologizes to Lauryn.

Afterwards, Janet joins her husband at a restaurant, who tells her about the discussion with Claudine. News that doesn’t surprise Janet, given that the hospital director asked her to drop the charges and apologize. Indeed, the latter scolded him for wanting to punish Lauryn without thinking of the consequences for the hospital. Janet is worried about this situation.
