The Walking Dead in France: Drag Race winner Paloma joins Daryl’s series

Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead spin-off will take place in France. Indeed, after the end of the parent series, Daryl (Norman Reedus) ends up on our earth and then tries to understand how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find his way home.

Deadline announced: Clemens Poesy (Harry Potter, Tenet, The Tunnel), Anne Charrier (Maison close, Le Temps des Secrets), Eric Ebouan (Carlos), Laika Blanc-Frankard (The World of Tomorrow), Romain Levy (tunnelPeur sur le lac) and a young Louis Pouch Chigliouz, who will make his screen debut here, are the French actors who will star with British actor Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl), also in the cast of the series and its main character, Norman Reedus.

But another French personality will also appear in the show. It was on her Instagram that Drag Race France Season 1 winner Paloma announced that she was going to be a part of the TWD universe and even posted a selfie alongside. Norman Reedus.

After appearing in the final season of Balthazar in early 2023, the drag queen will make her international series debut with this spin-off, in which she will play a character named Coco.

The spin-off is currently filming in France, with a premiere slated for later this year on AMC (and therefore a priori here on OCS). Another spin-off series, The Walking Dead: Dead City, starring Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), will debut on OCS on June 19.

Meanwhile, The Walking Dead, the original, still airs on OCS, but also on Netflix.
