How to format Edge 40?
- Make sure Edge 40 is charging, has at least 50% battery, or is plugged in. The procedure, if interrupted, could damage your device;
- Make a backup to save the information you don’t want to lose in the process;
- Open the “Settings” of the mobile phone;
- Go to the bottom of this menu and click on “System”;
- At the bottom of the page, select “Reset options”;
- In the new window, click on the last one, where it says “Erase all data (reset to factory settings)”;
- The smartphone will display the information and applications that will be deleted. If you’re sure you’re ready to continue, select “Erase All Data”;
- A confirmation window will appear asking you if you are sure you want to proceed with the procedure. If yes, click “Clear All Data”;
- Your phone should restart and start formatting, which should take a few minutes. After that it will be ready to be reconfigured and the procedure has been performed successfully.
