Flamengo increases invincibility under Sampaoli and bets on Data Fifa for the evolution of the job

This Sunday (11), Flamengo beat Grêmio 3-0, in a match valid for the 10th round of the Brazilian championship. With the result, Rubro-Negro has reached 10 games without defeat, the biggest positive streak in the 2023 season. Now, the coach will take advantage of the break for Data Fifa to evolve his work.

After the victory against Grêmio, Flamengo reached their tenth game without losing. There are seven wins and three draws so far. With the largest invincibility of the season and the interruption of official activities, Fla will use the time strategically to evolve the work and recover the players.

The 10 days exclusively of training will also be important for Jorge Sampaoli to improve his working methodology. Since arriving, the coach has faced a marathon of matches and has not had enough time to calmly implement the main points of his style of play. With the break, the Argentine will be able to adjust everything he deems necessary so that Flamengo has more consistency in their performances and, moreover, remains steadfast in the fight for the titles.

– Every moment of preparation is important to me. We have to incorporate an idea with the team that has already worked… Growth must come with high-level players who find their peak. We will have fun for that – said the coach about planning a break from official activities.

In addition to the evolution of work on technical and tactical issues, the next 10 days will serve to recover the players. Since Jorge Sampaoli took over Flamengo, the number of injuries in the squad has increased. Rubro-Negro faced embezzlement in important moments of the season and the club’s alert was activated. Now the focus is also on adapting the physical form of the squad to the return of the activity.

After beating Grêmio 3-0, Flamengo is focusing its attention on training, recoveries and improvements on the Maracanã lawn. With 10 days of training, Rubro-Negro will only be back on the field on June 22, to face Red Bull Bragantino, for the 11th round of the Brasileirão.
