Chef Leroy at the Institute
At the beginning of this sequence, the director of the Auguste Armand Institute is in his office with Antoine (Frederic Diefenthal). The two men have a lively discussion about the end of the year exams…but Chief Leroy interrupts them. From the looks of it, she and Emmanuel are not happy to see each other again!
But after a brief tense exchange, the two men embrace! In fact, the latter are very old acquaintances and even best friends. Mark introduces himself to Antoine and thanks him for inviting him to be a guest judge at the prestigious cooking school’s upcoming events.
Leroy, in turn, expresses his gratitude to her. He was happy to be back where it all started for him. In the room, she also sees a photo of Auguste (Francis Huster, soon to be signed back from the dead to the series) and stops to stare at it, as if meditating…
old acquaintances…
In fact, Mark uses this shot to cheer up Teissier, reminding him that the dead man is not the President of the Republic and therefore does not have to show the shot! Always in a humorous tone, the ruthless pastry chef replies that he knows about it, but he’s just a big sentimentalist…
Accomplices and undeniably four hundred strokes in the past, Mark and his friend “Manu” (as he fondly calls him) are happily and good humored around the owner. How will this newcomer be integrated? Continued This is where it all begins…
