Some members of Gaviões da Fiel, the main organized crowd of Corinthians, were at CT Joaquim Grava this Tuesday (13). The visit, therefore, took place during the re-presentation of the squad, which last Saturday drew with Cuiabá, for the Brasileirão. Although the meeting was not scheduled, the fans requested an interview with the team officials and received a response from the club.
In this way, Renato Augusto, Gil, Fábio Santos and Cássio represented the athletes, who had no time problems due to the presence of the members of the organization. Among other things, the football coach Alessandro was also present at the meeting.
Corinthians have given the players two days off, with the two-half training schedule this Tuesday being effectively met.
Organized dissatisfaction, however, has been part of the club’s routine since their elimination in the quarter-finals of the Paulista Championship. Therefore, demonstrations against the board and the cast take place both in the Neo Química Arena and in front of the CT. The main targets of the protests are the president Duilio Monteiro Alves and the manager Alessandro.
Timão appears in 16th place in the Brazilian championship, with nine points. So just one place above the relegation zone. The team’s next match will be in the classic against Santos on the 21st, in Vila Belmiro, for the 11th round.
