2 million admissions: The sequel to this hit comedy has a release date!

Released in our cinemas on February 16, 2022, the Thomas Gilles comedy Maison de Retraite with Kev Adams, Jarry, Gérard Depardieu, Daniel Prévost, Millen Damonjot, Jean-Luc Bideau, Lillian Rovere, Firmin Richard and Marte Villalona brought in over 2 million. Audiences in French cinemas.

Faced with this great success, the producers quickly decided to produce a sequel written by Kev Adams and this time directed by Claude Zide Jr. (Les Déguns, Ténor). The distributor has just announced the release date for Maison de Retraite 2. The feature film will be released in our theaters on February 14, 2024.

Filming since April 24th, Nursing Home 2 has new residents. Thus, Kev Adams and the army will be surrounded by Jean Reno, Michel Jonas, Enrico Macias, Amanda Lear, Chantal Ladessou, Brahim Buhlel, Stephane Debak, Luna Espinosa and Ana Marivin.

The first part follows 30-year-old Milan (Kev Adams). The latter is forced to perform 300 hours of community service in a nursing home. His first weeks are real hell, but he is quickly adopted by the pensioners. Over the weeks, Milan discovers that the facility is taking advantage of its residents’ vulnerabilities to destroy them. He then decides to make a great escape, but he’s not quite done with his misfortune…
