Before starring in ‘The Hunger Games’, Jennifer Lawrence held casting tests for the Twilight saga
Before playing the famous Kat niss ever deen in Hunger Games (2012), Jennifer Lawrence was completely discarded to be part of the cast of Twilighthomonymous saga based on the books of Stephanie Meyer.
In an interview with the podcast The Rewatchables, Lawrence said that he even participated in the tests to play the protagonist, Bella Swanbut admits that it performed below expectations, having been rejected immediately (via CBR)
“I auditioned for Twilight, they turned me down right away,” she recalled. “I didn’t even get a call [risos]. But my life would have been totally different. I got the role in Hunger Games a year later, if I’m not mistaken.”
The saga Twilight spanned five films, starting with Twilight 2008 and ending in 2012 with Breaking Dawn Part 2, grossing over $3.3 billion at the box office. The films follow the relationship of Bella (Kristen Stewart) with the vampire edward (Robert Pattinson) and the werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner).
