It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Tuesday 20 June 2023 episode 690 [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday, June 20, everything starts here…

Jasmine seduces Thibaut

Jasmin, who could not avoid Axel’s deception, hardly slept all night. However, Elliott suggests staying focused on exams.

Students meet at the institute at the seminar. Amber, caught off guard by Jasmine, is afraid to work with Axel. Hortense tells him to support her. Teissier arrives with Leroy to lead the second round. It consists of revisiting one of his signature dishes: rouge colbert. Teissier reminds the students that the two best brigades will be awarded.

Jasmine manages to concentrate during the ordeal. But David wants to apologize to him: he was sure he was in the hotel room with Axel on Friday night. Jasmine doesn’t blame him. On the contrary, he thanks him for opening his eyes. Lionel shares his idea with his partners: to make a vegetarian version of Leroy’s dish.

On the other hand, Axel and Amber have trouble concentrating and make mistakes. Their squad is clearly in a hurry, but Elliott urges his teammates to stay organized to motivate them.

At the end of the test, Teissier and Leroy observe the students’ plates. The director of the institute is amazed by the dish offered by Lionel’s trio: Colbert-style roasted carrots with red wine sauce, mashed carrots with red miso and mashed broccoli. Teissier and Leroy are also interested in Elliott’s trinomial dish: fried mullet, stewed juice associated with mullet liver, rouille, vegetable balls and small croutons. Teissier then invites the students to place their plates in the bell jar for a tasting that will take place later. The results will be announced the next day.

Elliot congratulates Amber and Axel as they were able to pull themselves out in time. He then goes to see Jasmine, who is watching her ex from afar. Elliot offers his neighbor to go with him to celebrate the end of the exams.

Meanwhile, Judy and Deva praise Ethan for his work during the ordeal. Deva really hopes to make it to their final grade. But Ethan still feels guilty for causing them trouble. Deva admits that it’s hard to recognize her these days. Judy suggests that she is in complete rebellion against the institution and all the pressures that come with it. Ethan tells his partners that Miriel made it clear to him that his place in the school was not certain. Despite everything, the young man wanted to continue his studies. So he’s ready to take control.

In the swamps, Jasmine and Elliot drink shots. Suddenly, a young girl catches the attention of a boy who comes to offer her a drink. As they talk, the feeling goes well. Finally they dance together.

On the way back to the neighbor, Elliot decides to leave them alone and goes looking for Nael at the babysitter. Jasmine stays with Thibaut who expresses her desire to kiss him. The second year still has the reflex to walk away, but ends up being tempted…

Mehdi feels abandoned by the tribe

At the institute, Mehdi tells Hortense that Tom is afraid of her. Hortense admits that her boyfriend is a perfectionist and therefore very demanding when it comes to cooking, which can impress anyone. So he encourages him to demonstrate positive education: praise instead of criticism, not get upset if Tom misses simple things, keep his breathing calm and above all smile.

During the ordeal, Mehdi tries to use Hortense’s advice and stay positive. But Tom and Bill make a few mistakes that he’s forced to fix on his own in order to present his chocolate risotto.

At the end of the ordeal, Tom and Bill congratulate their chef de brigade on the dish they managed to remove, then leave the atelier. While Hortense in turn congratulates her lover, the latter confides that she is disappointed with the result of her risotto. He blames Billy, but also Tom, who he feels is not up to par.

Salome is worried about the past

As promised, Gaitan will take Salome to his old home. A young woman notices that the place has changed a lot. After that Gaitan offered him to visit his owner.

So Salome makes him discover the different rooms of the house. Each of them brings back a memory of her adolescence that she tells him. But when Gaetani asks her why she didn’t want to keep in touch with other family members, Salome hesitates and changes the subject.

After which Gaitan and Salome return to Calvier and stop at a coffee shop. While making coffee, Salome drops the cup on the floor. The young woman burst into tears. Despite Gaetani’s kindness, she doesn’t want to talk about what’s bothering her and returns to her roommate.

Worried about Salome, Gaitan goes to Claire to question her. He hopes she knows a little more about his past. Claire had always understood that Salome had gone through painful moments, but they had never talked about it. Gaitan admits that he suspects Salome of hiding something serious. Claire states that Salome will tell her when she feels ready.
