Mission Impossible 7 “flies” over critics; see the first reactions

The film “Mission: Impossible – Reckoning: Part 1” hits the big screens on July 13th. But international critics have already seen the film starring Tom Cruise. And the initial reactions have been extremely positive.

After seeing the new venture of Ethan Hunt – starring played by Tom Cruise – journalists and critics have praised the impressiveness of the film. According to them, it is a “gigantic-sized show”, “fantastic” and “mind-blowing”.

Mission Impossible 7: First impressions

Here are the first reactions of journalists and critics of the main communication vehicles of pop culture:

“Mission: Impossible – Reckoning: Part 1” is another win for the franchise. Once again, the production value pushes the boundaries, with some of the most beautifully defined and exciting sets photographed in ways that truly make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. The emphasis on capturing things on camera makes a huge difference and you can feel it. I also loved the quest this time and how the technology they’re questing affects individual character arcs.

The best movie of the year! Tom Cruise has done it again! Jaw-dropping action, high stakes and a breathtaking third act that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Tom Cruise is better than ever and Hayley Atwell is amazing!

I had a lot of fun watching Mission Impossible 7. An impeccably done action movie that never fails to entertain. Each action sequence is long, crazy and intense. The story is big and sprawling, but I like how comprehensive it is and leaves you dying to know what comes next.

‘Mission: Impossible – Reckoning: Part 1’ is fantastic. Dynamite, story with rhythm. Great new characters. Huge variety of action and an ending sequence that ranks in the top 2-3 best of all time for the franchise. It gets a little thick at times, but the pace and intensity hide it.

After the madness of the last few movies, Mission Impossible 7 had a lot of expectations to live up to, but one thing I’ll say now in quick reaction format: it does the best job so far of the recent wave of “part 1 of 2!” presenting itself as a film in its own right as it prepares for the next half.

There is a car chase scene in Mission Impossible 7 that brought me so much joy that it reinvigorated my love for the blockbuster. The craftsmanship in this franchise is second to none. Even the final train sequence is a show-stopper: I found myself leaning forward in the seat.

Mission Impossible 7 is phenomenal! Hayley Atwell stole every scene she appeared in. This is now my favorite movie in the series. With the AI being the bad guy, this feels like a cautionary tale. The action raised my heart rate. That train scene is awesome!

“Mission: Impossible – Reckoning: Part 1”

In addition to Tom Cruise, the new film in the action series sees the return in the cast of Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames and Vanessa Kirby. The main novelties are: Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) and Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy).

The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also directed the fifth and sixth films in the franchise. Mission Impossible 7 will be released in theaters on July 13, 2023, while Mission Impossible 8 will be released on June 28, 2024.
