We’ve been waiting for a trailer, but these are just photos of The Bridgerton Chronicle Season 3 that Netflix released during TUDUM, an event held last week in São Paulo. Adapted from the novels by Julia Quinn, the series is set to return to our screens this year and this time will focus on the couple Penelope/Colin (Luke Newton).
Nicola Coughlan himself appeared on stage to present the first pictures. The interpreter of Penelope especially revealed a new face of her character. Come out of the curls, the young girl has more relaxed hair, which Colin did not break. The actress revealed to us that the third season of Bridgerton will be much more romantic than the previous one and it will contain less sex scenes.
After overhearing a conversation in which Colin admits that he sees her as a dear friend, Penelope tries to forget him and find a husband who respects her independence and allows her to live her double life as Lady Whistledown… but without much. success.
Season 3 of Bridgerton will welcome new characters/actors including Daniel Francis (Marcus Anderson), Sam Phillips (Lord Debling) and James Fun (Harry Dankworth). Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne) will not be there. Netflix has yet to announce a launch date, but all indications are that it will arrive by the end of the year.
